Lichfield Sinfonia is based in the City of Lichfield in Staffordshire. It is a performing society with around thirty regular members who meet weekly during school term time to rehearse. Members are amateur musicians from a wide range of backgrounds and of all ages, who meet and rehearse together for their love of music.
Lichfield Sinfonia performs two main concerts each year, in May and November, usually in Lichfield Guildhall. A third concert at the end of June usually has a lighter programme, and is held in a church in one of the local villages. If you enjoy listening to live orchestral music then come to one of our concerts.
Sara Birchall is the Conductor/Musical Director of Lichfield Sinfonia.
If you enjoy playing orchestral music then you might like to join Lichfield Sinfonia. There are vacancies for trombone, bassoon, trumpet and all strings. Please email for further information.
